We’re excited to share that the new washroom in Veterans Memorial Square officially opened in February. The facility is accessible, family-friendly and ready to welcome residents and visitors of Summerland year-round.

The washroom features:
- Fully accessible design
- A baby changing station
- A water fill and drinking fountain (coming in March)
- Year-round access, open 7 days a week
Hours of operation
- October 15 to April 14: 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM
- April 15 to October 14: 7:30 AM to 9:00 PM
This facility is the latest addition to Veterans Memorial Square, a new central plaza and community gathering space in the heart of downtown Summerland (between Wharton Street and Main Street). We invite you to stop by, explore the area and enjoy this new community amenity!
